About me
Carolyn McCoy is an Speech Language Pathologist in the Northshore School District in Suburban King County, WA. Working at Ruby Bridges Elementary School, a model site for inclusive practices within Washington State, has capped a career that includes experience in a co-teaching classroom in Amherst, NY, and extensive experience at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Autism. Carolyn enjoys intensive work on communication in the early phases of education, facilitating children utilizing AAC to communicate and encouraging those children to access general education where elsewhere they would be held back. Carolyn is a proud Buckeye graduate of The Ohio State University and completed her graduate degree at Ohio University. Carolyn also has received a BCBA certification.
